Lady bugs are garden animals, therefor they are herbivores. If you want to make Billy healthy again, feed it sunflower seeds, grass, leaves, and don't forget it needs fresh water! If Billy is in real distess, you are going to need to put him in a cleaner environment. If it is "homesick" release it into a safe part of the woods, or a garden that doesn't have things that could harm billy, aka young children, dogs and cats, snakes, roaches, worms, big birds. and Hi Billy!

If you're letting billy go tomorrow there's really no need to feed him, he'll be fine. If you really want to you could try some kind of seed or maybe honey, though they will usually only eat non-prey food when they feel there is no other option (contrary to what SoccerCrazed said they are NOT herbivores, they are garden insects solely because they eat OTHER INSECTS such as aphids and scales that eawhat do ladybugs eat in the houset the plants). I know right now there isn't, but it might just end up waiting until you let it go. If you feel it's absolutely necessary to feed billy now you could go to the nearest petstore and get some flightless fruit flies. You could also just let billy go now, as I'm sure he'll be fine on his own and if not... well survival of the fittest and all that. It's pretty much how ladybugs roll.
